HF RFID versus UHF RFID — Technology for Library Services
Since libraries use RFID systems, for Lib-Chip since 2001, more and more libraries have identified the advantages of the RFID technology. Each technology does have its advantages and Lib-Chip does have both available. We installed both technologies, HF & UHF, successfully in libraries and industry.
Several libraries in Estonia, Belgium and the Netherlands experience the advantages of the Lib-Chip UHF hard and software technology. In the Netherlands all libraries from the VU University off Amsterdam are equipped with Lib-Chip UHF hard- and software such as self-service, antenna systems, staff station and hand-held inventory units.
